Cosmo Terms of Service
Last updated May 15, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Cosmo, a privacy-forward AI personal assistant for coordinating plans and keeping useful context over time. By creating an account, signing in, texting Cosmo, inviting Cosmo into a conversation, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to the Cosmo Privacy Policy.
If you use Cosmo on behalf of another person, group, company, or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so and that your use will comply with these Terms.
Service Notice
Cosmo is actively evolving. Features may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or changed without notice. Cosmo is intended to help with coordination, planning, reminders, invitations, preferences, decisions, and related context, not to provide legal, financial, medical, emergency, travel agency, or other professional advice.
AI-Assisted Service
Cosmo may use AI agents, automated systems, and related service providers to read, classify, summarize, draft, send, and organize messages, requests, preferences, and other information. AI-generated messages may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate for a particular situation, or based on incomplete context. You are responsible for reviewing important commitments, bookings, purchases, payments, deadlines, arrangements, and decisions before relying on them.
SMS Program Terms
Cosmo records optional SMS consent on a consent page at gocosmo.ai/consent. SMS consent is separate from the Terms and is not required to use Cosmo on the web.
- Web sign-in. When you sign in at gocosmo.ai/signin, you may enter your US mobile number and verify it with a one-time code. After you finish required account setup, Cosmo may separately ask whether you want to enable SMS.
- Texting Cosmo directly. If you text Cosmo without having opted in before, Cosmo’s only response is a one-time welcome SMS that names the program and includes a personal link to the consent page. Cosmo will not engage further until that page is submitted.
- Invitation by an existing Cosmo user. If a Cosmo user adds you to a plan, Cosmo sends you one SMS that names the inviter and the program and includes a personal link to the consent page. You will receive no further SMS from Cosmo until that page is submitted.
If you check the SMS consent box and submit the consent page, you agree to receive recurring SMS/MMS text messages from Cosmo at the phone number on file. Messages may include questions, reminders, invitations, scheduling or coordination updates, decisions, follow-ups, and related service notices for direct chats, group conversations, tasks, and requests you start or are included in.
Message frequency varies based on your activity and the conversations you participate in. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive Cosmo texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, REVOKE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT, or by otherwise asking Cosmo not to text you. Cosmo may send one brief confirmation after processing an opt-out request. You may reply HELP or contact hello@gocosmo.ai for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the information, messages, phone numbers, names, preferences, and other content you provide to Cosmo. You agree that you will only provide phone numbers or add people to Cosmo conversations when you have a reasonable basis to contact them and to include Cosmo in that conversation.
You agree not to use Cosmo to send spam, harassment, deceptive messages, unlawful content, sensitive personal information you are not authorized to share, or messages that violate applicable laws, carrier rules, platform policies, or another person's rights.
Third-Party Services
Cosmo depends on third-party services for messaging, hosting, databases, analytics, AI infrastructure, and related operations. Those services may affect message delivery, availability, security, retention, and performance.
Connected Calendar Services
If you connect Google Calendar or another calendar service, you authorize Cosmo to access and use the calendar information and permissions you grant to help schedule appointments, check conflicts, display relevant appointments, and create calendar events you approve. Calendar providers may apply their own terms, privacy policies, and permission controls.
You are responsible for reviewing dates, times, time zones, attendees, locations, descriptions, and other event details before relying on an appointment or asking Cosmo to create it. You can disconnect a calendar from Cosmo or revoke access through the calendar provider.
Privacy
The Cosmo Privacy Policy explains how Cosmo collects, uses, shares, and retains information. By using Cosmo, you agree that Cosmo may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes And Suspension
We may update Cosmo or these Terms from time to time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Cosmo if we believe use of the service creates risk, violates these Terms, violates law or carrier/platform rules, or could harm Cosmo, users, service providers, or others.
Disclaimers
Cosmo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, message delivery failure, or AI-generated output, arising from or relating to Cosmo or these Terms.
